Description of Position: Project Assistant. 

Required Education: Background in Political science, International relations, Sociology or other related fields. 

Skills Required: Good English skills, ability to work unsupervised, interest or background in Central Asian issues. 

Anticipated Job Duties: translation, editing and proof-reading academic articles, development of research projects. Possible travel to study site(s). 

Level of Russian Language Required: Intermediate to Advanced. 

Work Environment: The Center has excellent records of publications in Russian and Kyrgyz languages. Bishkek, where European culture mixes with the orient, is a quite safe, inexpensive and pleasant city to stay.
