INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Globe Newspaper and The Energy of Kazakstan Magazine
 

This publishing company in Almaty, Kazakstan requires an assistant editor to work on two of its publications.

Employer Information Company/Business/Organization: IPA House Co. THE GLOBE newspaper, THE ENERGY OF KAZAKHSTAN magazine
 
Educational Background: Student or graduated student in journalistic, social sciences or political sciences or other. 

Skills Required: Good style in English, Intern should have some skill in edition of articles translated into English by local translator. 

Anticipated Job Duties: Editing articles for THE GLOBE newspaper and for THE ENERGY OF KAZAKHSTAN magazine 

Level of Russian Language: Basic knowledge would be enough. 

Office Space/Management: What kind of office space would an intern be provided with? An intern be provided with a desk and computer in our office

This position includes a stipend from the employer, as well as accommodations in Almaty. The intern would begin by taking Russian language training in St. Petersburg, Moscow or Bishkek, followed by a 6 to 8 month term in Almaty. Visa support will be provided by Interuniversity Centre Canada.
