Located in St. Petersburg, the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory has been in business for almost 300 years. It originally produced fine porcelain for the Russian Royal Family, but since the October Revolution in 1917 was used to promote socialist ideals though this medium. In the past 10 years, the company has struggled to move out of the past Soviet-style bureaucracy and turn itself into a modern, profitable company. Lomonosov has agreed to take several interns with various skills and backgrounds.
